Exams can make you laugh

Hello :)

I managed (just) to sit my maths exam last week, and I have one coming up on Wednesday which I really am struggling with so got the resit forms at the ready ;) Too much for me! Anyway, I gave my dad a 'funny exam answers' book for Christmas, and actually love it, so I thought I'd share it with you :) These are real answers from exams..

Totally sexist, but I do applaud the person who decided to put that down as the answer!

  • Q: Name the four seasons.
  • A: Salt, pepper, mustard and vinegar.
  • Q: Explain one of the processes by which water can be
    made safe to drink.
  • A: Flirtation makes water safe to drink because it removes large pollutants like grit, sand, dead sheep and canoeists.
  • Q: What happens to your body as you age?
  • A: When you get old, so do your bowels and you get intercontinental.
  • Q: What happens to a boy when he reaches puberty?
  • A: He says good-bye to his boyhood and looks forward to his adultery.
  • Q; Name a major disease associated with cigarettes.
  • A: Premature death.
  • Q: How can you delay milk turning sour?
  • A: Keep it in the cow.
  • Q: What does the word "benign" mean?
  • A: Benign is what you will be after you be eight.
  • Q: What is a turbine?
  • A: Something an Arab wears on his head.
  • Q: What is a Hindu?
  • A: It lays eggs.
  • Q: What is a vacuum?
  • A: Something my mum says I should use more often
Hope this made you smile a bit, and I hope everyone isn't snowed in! Bye from a very sleepy girl..

lots of love, kate x

Soap & Glory Review

Hello :) As my first weekend post of 2013 I thought I'd review some Soap & Glory products, since they're my favourite and I got loads for Christmas!

Cleansing milk - I love this as it has a lush creamy texture and an uplifting peachy smell. I luckily don't suffer with spots, but any imperfections seem to clear up nicely. My rating - 4* Good product for sensitive skin

Righteous body butter - hydrates the skin and makes it feel velvety soft with it's mixture of aloe vera and shea butter. Has an absolutely gorgeous subtle smell and comes as lotion or butter depending on what you like best! I have both, and personally the butter is the absolute business ;) My rating - 5* Must have.
Moisturising mist - an amazing friend Libby bought me this, and it's lasted for ages! It is so ME friendly, as it distributes the moisturiser evenly with very little rubbing needed. Good for every day use, but won't give you as good moisturisation as the butter. But it's been an absolute god send for me! My rating 4* Good product

Bubble bath and shower gel - both very similar products with built in body lotion which makes your skin feel super soft after wards. My rating - 5* Must have
Body polish / scrub
Flake away - smoothing body polish with shea butter, sweet almond oil, peach seed powder, sea salt and sugar Works a treat!. My rating 5* Must have
Sugar crush - brown sugar and sweet lime, almond oil & macadamia grains. Larger grains, I prefer flake away. My rating 4* Good product
Thermal scrub - This definitely heats up! A nice scrub, but you feel the heat more in your hands whilst rubbing it in than your legs! My rating 4* Good product.

Cream and Soaper Hand Rack™HAND FOOD
Hand wash and moisturiser (hand food) pack - I absolutely adore this, its far better than using bog standard soap, and leaves your hands feeling and smelling gorgeous. It comes in a nice stand, so looks good in your bathroom too! My rating 5* Must have

Foot cream - A good product but I don't think there is enough moisturiser for my feet as they're quite dry. Smells lovely and would work well with already soft feet. My rating 3* Works for some

Sit Tight™ Intense XS
Firming serum - Personally I find the roller balls painful and didn't notice much difference when using this. Its a nice idea though, and a lovely smelling & heating serum. Would prefer it as cream. My rating 3* Works for some.
Super-Colour Sexy Mother Pucker Lip Gloss
Lip plumper - All I can say is I laughed for about 15mins after putting this on. Not realising it was a lip plumper, and thinking it was a lip gloss, I layered it on nicely. Within a minute my lips were tingling, it felt like water was running down my mouth, and I had the strangest sensations ever. After all that my lips still looked the same, but felt tingly. My rating 3* Good for some

Tinted moisturiser - This moisturiser has little beads which 'pop' full of bronzer. Unfortunately it means that when applied it can leave a very uneven finish, as sometimes you get lots of these beads, and in some places you only have moisturiser. Work best if you pour it all into your hand first and pop the beads before mixing and putting on your face! Good idea, different, but needs tweaking.. My rating 3* Good for some

So, as you can see I have lots of Soap & Glory products, and I hope anyone wishing to try them that this review has helped :)
